feminine edge at graffiti alley

When a few girl friends and I decided to take a field trip to Graffiti Alley for a photo shoot, the first thing that came to my mind was “how am I going to look edgy?!” I didn’t want to show up to a graffiti wall wearing frilly clothes. I just felt like it wouldn’t mix.  I would describe my style as feminine and classic with a mix of the newest trends. I love to try out new styles but this one was out of my comfort zone.  So what did I do? I pulled out my faux leather jacket from TJ Maxx out of my closet…and of course it’s blush.  This is when I realized that I love feminine and edgy together and I want to continue working on this look.  The blush and light neutral tones is where the feminine comes in but the distressed denim, the faux leather of the jacket and black and white striped top give this look the touch of edge that I was hoping for.    Because I fell in love with this look, I began the hunt for feminine pieces with an edge. While looking for this style, I seemed to go for dark pieces with a feminine detail like lace, floral print, or ruffles!  You can shop some of my finds below!
